Registration Opens for 2014 MU Football Season Tickets
COLUMBIA - Tiger fans are already gearing up for another season of Missouri football. Starting Friday, Missouri fans wanting to become new season ticket holders can submit their names to a request list. Registration begins at 6 p.m.
The Department of Athletics will process new requests after renewals and upgrades for current season ticket holders are completed. Current season ticket holders will receive information about renewal mid-February.
Ticket holders, new and old, will not pay more for the 2014 season than they did for 2013. General admission ticket prices will remain at $379. Students will pay $240 for football/basketball combination tickets and $160 for football only.
Deputy Athletic Director Doug Gillin cited fan support as the reason for not increasing ticket prices.
"We cannot say enough about the way our fans supported us throughout the historic 2013 season," Gillin said.
The Tigers kick off against South Dakota State Aug. 20 in the first game of the season. Fans can also look forward to matchups against Fiesta Bowl Champion Central Florida and SEC opponent Arkansas. The last game between the Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks in Columbia was in 1906.
Missouri defeated Oklahoma State in the 2014 Cotton Bowl, which landed a top-5 national ranking by the AP.
