Exhibits include a model house showcasing various ways residents can conserve and become more energy efficient in the home. The diverse resources of wind, efficiency, biomass, and solar are the main discussion points of this year's conference. Organizers say they are glad to see the interest in advancing renewables.
"Renewable energy is becoming an ever larger share of the market, slowly but surely," said MU Atmospheric Sciences Professor Tony Lupo. "Here in Missouri, the two main ones that are getting a lot of attention right now are wind and solar."
The conference continues until 5:00 PM Tuesday in the Anheuser-Busch Natural Resources building on the MU campus.
