Reserve Residents Take Precautions
"This guy showed up saying he was a cop and he had a badge and a gun and he came upstairs," said resident Austin Knoblauch There were five of us out on the porch and he pretty much just pulled his gun out on us and told us to get down on our knees."
After the man left the apartment a suspicious neighbor called 911.
Police arrived at the Reserve apartment complex and arrested the intruder. Apartment managers said they began contacting residents to remind them of safety procedures and sending letters reminding them to follow the precautions.
The intruder is now facing charges including burglary, assault and impersonating a police officer.
