Roadwork causes closures on MU campus
COLUMBIA - The University of Missouri said roadwork would cause road closures on campus starting Monday, and lasting through Aug. 7.
According to an email from MU, the City of Columbia would perform work that would close Tiger Ave. between Conley Ave. and Turner Ave. MU said one lane of Conley Ave. would remain open and the crosswalk from Reynolds Alumni Center to the Turner Ave. parking garage would also remain open.
The work included road paving and increasing accessibility for the disabled, according to the university.
Additional work would be done on Tiger Ave. between Rollins St. and Kentucky Ave. MU said one lane of traffic would remain open. All roadwork on Tiger Ave. was scheduled to finish July 31, according to the university.
Work at the corner of Rollins St. and Tiger Ave. would begin Aug. 3 and was scheduled to finish Aug. 7, the university said.
