COLUMBIA- Route H near the Columbia Regional Airport was closed for about 90 minutes on Thursday after a truck overturned on the road.

Missouri State Highway Patrol say around 2:45 p.m., a hydroseeder was going eastbound and approached another large vehicle, a sterling fertilizer spreader.

Both vehicles tried to give each other room, but the hydroseeder went off the right side of the road and overcorrected, crashing onto its side and landing partially in the road.

The hydroseeder spilled all of its cargo of hydro-mulch and wood fiber onto the road.

A tow truck was used to pull the hydroseeder up onto its wheels and pull it away.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle were taken to University Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

The other vehicle was not involved in the crash.
