Royals Snap Losing Streak

KANSAS CITY - The Royals and White Sox faced off at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Here are game highlights:

In the top of the 1st with bases loaded, Adam Dunn smacked a sharp grounder to 1st. It's off Eric Hosmer's glove to allow a 2 run score. White Sox started with a 2-0 lead.

In the 3rd, Adam Dunn hit a 2-run homer to center to put the Sox up 4-0. When the bottom of the 5th came with a score of 4-1, George Kottaras also had a solo homer to right. Royals were just down 2. Next batter - Jarrod Dyson - provides another grand slam, bringing the Royals within one.

In the top of the 7th with the game tied at 4, Gordon Beckham doubled to center. A 2-run score and Chicago leads 6-4. Moving to the bottom of the 8th with KC trailing 6-5, Alcides Escobar has a grounder to short. An error by Alexei Ramirez allows Kansas City to bring another 2 run score.

Royals win 7-6 and snap a 4 game losing streak.
