SEC Summer Summit Picnic With Commissioner Slive

COLUMBIA - The St. Louis Mizzou Tiger Club and the St. Louis Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association will host an SEC Summer Summit Picnic at De Smet High School in Creve Coeur, Mo., this Sunday.

Many food options and activities will be available for kids and adults, including food trucks, kettle corn and carnival games. SEC Commissioner Mike Slive and Chancellor Loftin from MU will also be at the event to talk with fans.

Marcus Spears, a former All-American football player at LSU from 2001-04, will be on hand as well. Spears joined the SEC Network Saturday as a studio analyst for the college football show SEC Nation, which will make its debut Aug. 28. The show will run on Saturday mornings from 9-11 a.m. CT.    

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12-and-under. The picnic starts at 2 p.m.
