Service animal relief area coming to Columbia Regional Airport
COLUMBIA - The Columbia Regional Airport is getting a service animal relief area.
The addition comes after the Federal Aviation Administration suggested it to the airport during an audit.
The service animal relief area is fenced in and will have a wooden bench.
The area is right outside of airport doors.
Mike Parks, the airport manager, said the addition is about accessibility.
"This improves the accessibility of the airport," Parks said.
