Shooting Suspect In Custody
In a press release, the Columbia Police Department said they received a Crime Stoppers tip that Jackson was at a residence in Callaway County. Police took Jackson into custody around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Jackson is accused of an early morning shooting in Columbia on June 2.
Last Saturday, officers of the Columbia Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the parking lot of Break Time on Smiley Lane. Officers arrived and found a 19-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
