Social Security Headquarters Locks Down after Nearby Shooting
WOODLAWN, Md. (AP) - Baltimore County police say a shooting near the campus of the Social Security Administration was a robbery.
County policy notified the Social Security Administration, which locked down its Woodlawn campus because the suspect has not been apprehended. An agency spokeswoman confirmed the campus is on lockdown.
Police say they were called at 11:43 a.m. about the shooting in the woods near Walden Circle.
The victim, a man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police say he'll be taken to Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
