Columbia-- The St. Louis Blues defeated the Calgary Flames 5-3 to pick up their first win of the season.

Calgary scored first on a goal from James Neal, however the Blues responded with four unanswered goals.

Two of those four goals came from David Perron, who would score a third in the final period to record the hat trick.

The Flames made it a game in the third period when they scored two goals in two minutes to make it 5-3, but it was too little, too late.

The Blues will take on their rivals the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, October 13th at 7:30 p.m.
