ST. LOUIS (AP) - Hundreds of visitors showed up for the reopening of the Central Library in downtown St. Louis.
The library was reopened Sunday after a two-year, $70 million renovation.
KMOX reports that library director Waller McGuire opened the doors to the public for the first time since June 2010.
Mayor Francis Slay says the restoration on the century-old building is a testament to the value that St. Louis places on education, learning and access to information.
