St. Louis man charged in June shooting death
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 20-year-old man has been charged with fatally shooting one man and wounding another this summer in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Rahshid Williams of St. Louis was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the June 28 killing of 20-year-old Cartez Johnson. Williams also is charged with two counts of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree assault.
Johnson was shot multiple times and found dead in the driver's seat of a vehicle. A 19-year-old man was shot in the ankle and ran away.
Williams is being held on a $1 million cash-only bail. No attorney is listed for him in online court records.
