St. Louis minister victim of carjacking
ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are searching for the suspects who held a Baptist minister at gunpoint and stole her car outside a midtown church.
KMOV-TV reports that the crime happened Tuesday night at Central Baptist Church. Police say a woman approached the minister and asked for directions. As they were speaking, two men, one with a gun, appeared and stole the minister's car.
The minister, whose name was not released, was not hurt.
Soon after the carjacking, church members came out and discovered that at least four cars had been broken into. Police aren't sure if that was a separate crime or the work of the suspects who took the minister's car.
