St. Louis police arrest suspected graffiti artist
ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis police have arrested a man suspected in spray-painting graffiti in prominent buildings, bridges and other places across the city.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 33-year-old David Cox is facing two felony counts of property damage, along with unlawful possession of a firearm and resisting arrest.
Police believe it is Cox who is the graffiti artist known as "Super," a word he often spray-painted. He is jailed on $35,000 bond and does not have a listed attorney.
Complaints about graffiti have been on the rise in St. Louis and have become a growing problem for businesses.
