St. Louis Teen Shot to Death While Waiting for Bus
ST. LOUIS - St. Louis homicide detectives are investigating after a teenager was found shot to death on a baseball field in a neighborhood park.
Police identified the 16-year-old victim as James Moore, a Sumner High School student who was shot about 7 a.m. Tuesday while waiting for a school bus.
Police say Moore ran into the park from the bus stop after he was targeted by the gunman, who gave chase and shot Moore several times before fleeing in a vehicle.
Three suspects were taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after a police chase that began in the city and ended in the St. Louis County town of Jennings.
