Sullivan Man Wins $2 Million from Lottery Scratcher in Columbia
JEFFERSON CITY - A Sullivan man scratched off a $2 million prize after purchasing the ticket at a Columbia grocery store.
Bryan Boudria bought the ticket at Moser's Discount Foods on N. Highway 763 in Columbia. He uncovered the top prize on a Mega Monopoly ticket inside the store. The prize was the final $2 million winner in the series of the lottery game.
"I had won on a few other tickets," Boudria said. "So, I had another $10 in my hand, and I popped in the Monopoly. I started scratching it and hit $2 million. I was like, ‘I've gotta get out of here.'"
He plans to invest his winnings in hopes of living off the interest without touching the capital funds.
"I'm going to give it a good go," he said. "I'd like to do some good things with it, help some people who may need help."
