Tarasenko leaves as Blues beat Kings 5-2
SAINT LOUIS - The Blues tried to get back into rhythm against the Los Angeles Kings Thursday night after ending their losing streak on Monday.
The Blues would play most of the game without Vladmir Tarasenko as he injured his upper body on a break away and would leave the ice in the first period, but it would not slow down the Blues.
Power plays were the name of the game for Saint Louis as Vince Dunn, Alex Pietrangelo, and Brayden Schenn would score one in the game, Dunn and Pietrangelo to tie and Schenn to extend the lead, to get the Blues pass the Kings 5-2.
Saint Louis improves to 5-2-3 on the season and will travel to face the Boston Bruins on Saturday night for the first time since the Stanley Cup Final last season.
