Taxday Closing In
"I'm just not built to wait for the last day. I just can't do that, i would be worried for three months and I don't want that. So I took care of it a couple months ago," said Charles Roberts.
Roberts wasn't the only one who turned in his taxes early. Accountants at Casey and Company saw fewer last minute tax payers this year.
"We always have a big rush on the deadline day and were always short of staff. So today we have plenty of staff but we don't have a rush. And it's delightful," said Joan Casey, accountant.
Casey says people didn't realize the filing deadline was pushed back two days. Most of her clients picked up their tax forms yesterday.
"We only have about 15 or 20 more to distribute and then were going home," Casey said.
