ARLINGTON, Texas - The Kansas City Royals took their third loss to the Texas Rangers today to end a four game series.
The Royals took game 1 of the series, 4-2. The team was quiet until Jorge Soler hit a home run with two men on base in the 6th inning.
The Rangers won game 2 of the series, 6-2. The Royals dominated with two runs until the 6th inning. Elvis Andrus hit an RBI single and set the Rangers up to score 5 more runs.
Game 3's story was the same with the Rangers winning, 6-2. Joey Gallo set the pace with a home run in the 4th inning after a scoreless game.
The Rangers won the final game of the series, 5-1. Adrian Sampson kept the Royals lineup to one run in his first game as a starter.
The Royals will take on the Red Sox Tuesday to kick off a three game series in Kansas City.
