Three arrested after SWAT team searches Columbia home
COLUMBIA - Columbia authorities arrested three men Wednesday morning after serving a search warrant at 806 Oak Lawn Drive.
Columbia SWAT officers and detectives from Vice Narcotics and Organized Crime began searching the home just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Reports said VNOC detectives found one gram of heroin and tools to create forged checks.
Authorities then arrested 33-year-old John Curry, 45-year-old Aaron Stiers, and 46-year-old Derek Cook.
Officers arrested Curry for six counts of forgery, one count of possession of forgering instrumentality, and one count of distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance.
Stiers and Cook were both arrested for one count of forgery.
