Three Belle Residents in Custody After Burglary
BELLE - Chief Michael Dixon responded to a burglary around 208 South Linn Street Thursday at approximately 10:30 a.m. Witnesses said a white male and female stole several items from a residential garage.
After more investigation, Dixon took Allen Bray, 42, Anna Morris, 49, and Gary Pierce, 39, into custody at the Maries County Jail.
In an interview with Bray, Dixon discovered Bray was under the influence of bath salts and alcohol while committing the crime. He intended to sell the stolen items to purchase more synthetic drugs.
Maries County Prosecutor Terry Daley-Schwartze filed charges against all three, and the Honorable Judge Kerry Rowden set bond at $50,000 each.
