Three injured in downtown St. Louis shooting
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Three people - an apparently targeted man and two people who were innocently passing by - were recovering Thursday after being shot in downtown St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the shooting happened Wednesday night at 15th Street and Olive Street. Police said a 19-year-old man targeted by the gunman was hit in the leg. Two other men, ages 72 and 63, were grazed by bullets.
Police said the 19-year-old and the 26-year-old gunman were involved in an argument, prompting the shooting. The older men just happened to be in the area. All three were in stable condition at a hospital Thursday afternoon.
Police said they know who the suspect is and were searching for him Thursday.
