COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department is searching for three suspects after a home invasion robbery Monday night.

Officers dispatched to the scene of the home invasion in the 1400 block of Rolling Rock at 8:52 p.m. Monday. Two male victims were in their apartment at the time of the robbery.
The male victim, who was upstairs, heard footsteps in the hallway. The victim went to check on who was in the hallway and he was confronted by an unknown black male armed with a handgun who demanded to know the location of marijuana in the house.

The other male roommate was confronted by two other suspects downstairs. The victims were able to get out of the apartment without injury and call police.

The only missing item from the residence was less than one gram of marijuana. Officers seized several marijuana smoking devices, other drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana from the home.

If anyone has any information about this robbery, please contact the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (573)875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
