Thursday COVID-19 coverage: Cole County reports 15 new cases, CPS reports 42 new cases

Updates for Thursday, Sept. 17 will become available below:
6:00 p.m.: Cole County reports 15 new cases, CPS reports 42 new cases, Jefferson City School District reports 5 new student and 2 new staff cases
The Cole County Health Department reported 15 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing their total number of active cases up to 130.
Columbia Public Schools reported 42 new COVID-19 cases, as well as a 66.9 14-day positivity rate, down 4.2% from last time.
Finally, the Jefferson City School District reported five new student cases of COVID-19, as well as two new staff cases.
4 p.m.: Boone County reports 44 new cases
The Boone County Health Department reported 44 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases up to 488. The BCHD also reported 58 current COVID-19 related hospitalizations.
3 p.m.: Camden County adds two deaths in last seven days
According to the Camden County Health Department Facebook page, the county added two deaths in the last seven days.
As of Thursday, there are 104 active cases and eight hospitalizations.
2:30 p.m.: Missouri adds 1,747 new cases
Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services reported 1,747 new cases Thursday, bringing the 7-day positivity rate to 11.1 percent.
There were 18 deaths added in the past 24 hours.

1 p.m.: MU adds 23 new cases
MU reported 23 new cases Thursday, bringing the active total to 203.
Ten faculty and 39 staff cases have also been reported to the university since Aug. 16.
11 a.m.: Audrain County reports 50 new cases
The county added 50 new cases on Wednesday and currently has 215 active cases.
According to Audrain County's COVID-19 dashboard, 26 of the active cases are from the Tri-County Care Center and 161 of the active cases are from the Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center, both located in Vandalia.
