Ticket Scalping, Legal?
Congress passed a bill legalizing ticket scalping. The legislation now waits for Governor Blunt's signature.
Proposed legislation would authorize $66 million a year in tax breaks to businesses, investors and film makers.
The University of Missouri Athletic Department and Ticketmaster both said legalizing ticket scalping would not significantly affect their business.
Although ticket scalping is currently illegal, some students try to push the limits.
MU student Levi Robertson said he usually doesn't scalp tickets.
"I probably wouldn't put it on facebook because it's illegal," he said. "But if someone I knew said yeah, I'll give you $80 for it, then yeah, I'd probably sell it to them."
