Tigers Prepare for Aggies
The Missouri baseball team is 3-3, including winning all three Big 12 series. The Tigers have a 6-3 record, which puts them in a tie for second place in the league.
The Aggies, with a 6-5 record, are just behind Mizzou in the Big 12 standings.
Mizzou, ranked No. 25, just broke into the Top 25 collegiate baseball poll.
The Tigers head coach said the team is looking forward to another challenge because they can play better.
"They're a good baseball team, so we want to eliminate mistakes and we want to play well, we want our pitchers to do well," Tim Jamieson said. "We really have not played our best baseball yet, and in conference especially we haven't put it all together yet, so hopefully this is the weekend we do that."
"It's just something we're going to go out there and give it our all, starting tomorrow, and hopefully we'll have a big crowd to get us into the game, and you know, like we just talked about, getting a lead early and holding onto it late," said freshman catcher Trevor Coleman.
