Tigers Release 2011 Soccer Schedule

COLUMBIA - The Missouri Tigers will play another elite schedule in the upcoming 2011 season. The schedule features 19 games with seven games against 2010 NCAA tournament teams. The Tigers will welcome 11 teams to Walton Stadium including 2010 Final 4 participant the Ohio State Buckeyes on August 26th and the 2010 SEC conference champion Gators from the University of Florida, September 16th.

"Our ultimate goal is to win a national championship," said head coach Bryan Blitz. "So to be the best you have to play the best and this schedule reflects our tradition of playing a top 10 schedule."

The Tigers will also travel to University of San Diego, Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, and play in a Tournament in Tempe, Arizona against Arizona State University and the University of Arizona the weekend of September 9th thru 11th, the same weekend Tiger Football plays at Arizona State.

In Big 12 play, the Tigers will also continue the tradition of playing a conference opponent on an ESPN network with the game against the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman on October 16th.
