Tigers Throttle Lithuania
Anderson's frantic, up-tempo playing style was in full effect against Lithuania. The Tigers scored more than half of its points off turnovers. Lithuania coughed the ball up 41 times, which led to 55 Missouri points. The new-look Tigers also notched 25 team steals, a would-be school record if the game was not an exhibition.
Marshall Brown led all scorers with 22 points despite playing only 22 minutes. Stefhon Hannah contributed to the mix with 16 points and 9 assists. Every Tiger player scored except Michael Anderson Jr., the head coach's son.
Missouri dominated in the paint, outscoring Lithuania 48-6. The Tigers dominated nearly the entire game, leading for all but 48 seconds. A 17-0 run midway through the first half sparked the lopsided victory.
The Tigers begin the regular season Friday against North Carolina A&T in the John Thompson Foundation Classic in Mizzou Arena.
