AP-MO--Tightwad Bank,0069 Tightwad bank to close after 22 years TIGHTWAD, Mo. (AP) -- The Tightwad Bank ends its 22-year-old-run as a Missouri institution on January 31st. U-M-B Bank operates the branch office in the small Missouri town of Tightwad. And the name of the bank had attracted mail-in customers from across the country.
