Trial Set for Alyssa Bustamante

JEFFERSON CITY - In a status hearing Tuesday, a judge announced the trial date for Alyssa Bustamante.

Sixteen-year-old Alyssa Bustamante is on trial for the murder of Elizabeth Olten. Olten went missing last October and was found murdered several days later. Bustamante admit to the murder.

Bustamante's trial will begin May 16, 2011. The Cole County Court has allotted two weeks for the trial.
