Updates for Tuesday June 30 will be posted below:

4 p.m.: Record jump in Boone County numbers

Boone County has reported an additional 25 cases of COVID-19, bringing the county's total number of confirmed cases to 379. The county has 108 active cases of the virus, according to the Columbia/Boone County public health and human services.

3:00 p.m.: Ameren to reinstate late fees

After previously canceling late payment fees and reconnection fees during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ameren will reinstate both later this summer.

Non-residential customers will be subject to the fees starting July 15, and residential customers will be subject to fees starting August 3.

2:00 p.m.: 1,015 have died from COVID-19 in Missouri

Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services has reported 1,015 deaths from the virus. This reflects an increase of 17 deaths from Monday. The state has also confirmed 21,551 cases, a 508-case jump from Monday.

1:45 p.m.: Spike in cases slows down contact tracing

With an increase in Boone County cases, the health department might be slowed down in contact tracing, according to a news release from the county.

"If someone has newly received a positive rest result, they should isolate at home immediately and prepare a list of people they have had close contact with," according to the news release.

The majority of new cases between June 21 and 27 were transmitted by contact with a known case, according to the department.
