Two arrested in Centralia on suspicion of drug trafficking
CENTRALIA - Two people were arrested for drug trafficking in Centralia Thursday night.
According to the Centralia Police Department, 30-year-olds Kenneth Petska and Madison Putnam, both of Columbia, were arrested at around 8 p.m. with help from a K-9 team. Officers reported finding nearly 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine in their vehicle.
Both were arrested for possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and were transported to the Boone county Jail.
In addition, Petska was also arrested for driving with a revoked license.
Putnam was also arrested on two active Boone County Circuit Court arrest warrants, one for possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and another for probation violation.
Both Petska and Putnam are currently on probation via the Missouri Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole.
