Two Arrests Made in Fabick Co., Loveall's RVs Thefts
BOONE COUNTY - Two suspects were arrested Tuesday afternoon at Finger Lakes State Park on suspicion of committing two thefts over the weekend at Fabick Company and Loveall's RVs east of Columbia.
David E. Woods, 42, and Jennifer R. Freeman, 31, are being held in the Boone County Jail awaiting bond to be set on several burglary and stealing charges.
Boone County sheriff's deputies recovered two stolen trucks, a camping trailer and a gooseneck trailer at the state park north of Columbia. One of the trucks was a GMC pickup that had not yet been reported stolen. It belonged to Crown Power and Equipment on Prathersville Road.
An off-duty deputy at Finger Lakes became suspicious after spotting the camper, trucks, trailer and other items.
Tools, vehicle tires, copper wiring and other items believed stolen were also recovered. Deputies are working with surrounding law enforcement agencies to try and determine the owners of the property.
