Two Bodies Found in Burning Car in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY (AP) - KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Police say a man and woman whose bodies were found in a burning car in northeast Kansas City were both murdered.
Firefighters found the bodies Monday evening after extinguishing the car fire. One of the bodies was in the trunk.
Kansas City police spokesman Darin Snapp says investigators know the identity of the male victim but are still trying to identify the female.
She is believed to be Hispanic. She is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 180 pounds with black shoulder length hair and a pierced bottom lip. She was wearing bracelets, a necklace and artificial fingernails.
