BELLE —Police charged two suspects with assault Monday after a man was found with serious injuries.

Police arrested 21 year old Dylan Kinsey from Belle, MO. He was charged with first  degree assault, a class A felony. Another suspect, Madison Ridenhour, also from Belle, was also charged with first degree assault, a class B felony. There is currently a warrant out for her arrest.

Officers responded to an assault call around 1 a.m.  When arriving on the scene deputies found a male subject covered in blood, with a large pool of blood in the center of his shirt. His nose appeared to be broken and he had numerous lacerations on his face and arms, according to a Facebook post from the Maries County Sheriff’s Office Belle Division.

The victim was able to report that he awoke to being hit multiple times and attempted to flee his attackers breaking through a glass pane in the screen door which caused a severe cut to his throat, according to the post.

After multiple interviews, police determined that one male suspect was present to assault the victim. Two more male suspects were also present, allegedly attempting to talk the primary suspect out of assaulting the victim. A fourth suspect, a woman, was determined to be an accessory to the assault and was reported to have keys to the apartment and let the granted access to the victims home.

The other two male suspects present during the assault were issued court summons for disorderly conduct, according to the statement.

No further information on the condition of the victim was provided.
