Two injured in apparently random St. Louis shooting
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Two people were hospitalized Thursday after what police believe was a random shooting in downtown St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at 15th Street and Olive Street. Police said a 19-year-old man was hit in the leg and a 72-year-old man was hit in the shoulder. Both were in stable condition Thursday morning.
Police said the windshield of another man's car was hit and shattered as he was driving by the scene. The 64-year-old driver was unhurt.
No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning. Police Lt. Donnell Moore said the gunman got into the passenger side of a car that drove away. Police were investigating Thursday morning.
