Two St. Louis men indicted in drug-related killing
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A federal indictment accuses two St. Louis men of a drug-related killing.
The U.S. Attorney's office in St. Louis announced Thursday that 24-year-old Jessie Hampton and 25-year-old Malcom Johnson were both indicted on several charges related to the 2012 death of Scipio Vaughn of Centralia, Illinois. Both could face up to life in prison if convicted.
The indictment alleges that Hampton and Johnson, while involved in drug trafficking on July 15, 2012, robbed Vaughn, who was fatally shot during the crime.
