Two teenagers killed in fiery crash in southwest Missouri
ROGERSVILLE (AP) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol said two teenagers were killed Sunday when the Jeep they were in went off a road in southwest Missouri and caught fire.
The patrol said the accident in Rogersville killed Garret Krasser of Springfield and Christina Harter of Rogersville. They were both 17 years old.
The patrol said the Jeep Krasser was driving failed to negotiate a turn, went off a road, hit a tree and caught fire.
The two teenagers died at the scene. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
