Tyler Gabbert Reportedly No Longer in Louisville
COLUMBIA - According to the Card Chronicle, Tyler Gabbert has left the Louisville football program. Sources told the Card Chronicle on Friday that Gabbert who had spent less than a week with the Louisville team, left Friday morning to return home to Missouri and does not plan on returning to the Cardinal program.
Jason Anderson and Andy Sweeney of ESPN Radio 680 say Gabbert would like to re-join the Missouri football team. The announcement of Gabbert leaving the Cardinals comes after the verbal commitment of quarterback Maty Mauk on Thursday.
The Card Chronicle was not able to receive information on the status of Gabbert from the University of Louisville at this time and was told they would not be able to talk to anyone about the situation until head coach Charlie Strong returns on Wednesday.
