UPDATE: Columbia Police seek help identifying suspect in armed robbery
COLUMBIA - Columbia Police officers are seeking a suspect of an armed robbery occurring at Great Southern Bank on Providence Road, shortly before noon Friday.
CPD released surveillance photos of the suspect and are asking the community to help identify the man.

Police said the man entered the bank armed with a gun and demanded money from an employee shortly after 11:30 a.m. Friday. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. No employees were injured during the robbery.
Columbia Public Schools spokesperson Michelle Baumstark said Gentry Middle School, Rock Bridge Elementary, Rock Bridge High School, and Columbia Area Career Center were in modified lockdown. The lockdowns were lifted a short time later.
