BOONE COUNTY -  A construction worker fell two stories onto concrete Monday morning while doing construction work on a new home. The man,Tim Ellias of Ace Builders, is part of a construction crew building the house off of North Dripping Springs Road.

According to Boone County Fire Protection District Information Officer Gale Blomenkamp, Ellias was taken to University Hospital as a trauma alert victim due to the height of the fall. He sustained serious leg injuries, but the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

KOMU spoke to Ellias' boss and he said that his worker would be "okay". Hospitals are refusing to release his condition.
