UPDATE: Paris man arrested after chase and crash
AUDRAIN COUNTY - Authorities arrested a man who the Audrain County Sheriff's Office said ran from the scene of a crash late Wednesday night.
According to a Facebook post, a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper was attempting to stop a car near Audrain Road 214 and Route E.
The driver, identified as Tanner Spurlock of Paris, continued down the road and eventually crashed into a ditch at the intersection of Audrain Roads 214 and 217.
Spurlock ran away from the scene, the sheriff's office said.
He was taken into custody by the Ralls County Sheriff's Office Thursday morning, and transferred to Audrain County Jail the next day.
Spurlock is currently in jail and awaiting trial for 11 charges.
