Viewer survey: Share your thoughts on income inequality
COLUMBIA - The "wealth gap" between middle-income and upper-income families is the widest on record, according to the most recent survey by Pew Research.
The study also shows upper-income familes have more than 70 times more wealth than the average low-income family.
Wealth is measured as total assets minus total debt. The gap between rich and middle class or poor is often called income inequality.
KOMU 8 News is working with The Missourian on local coverage of the issue and we value our viewers' opinions.
