Voters Dislike Presidential Candidates

That was the result of a Research 2000 poll of 800 likely voters released yesterday by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and KMOV-TV. The poll found that voters favored Hillary Clinton over Rudi Guiliani and three other Republican contenders: Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson and John McCain. The two other leading Democrats, Barack Obama and John Edwards, also outpolled all four top Republicans, but generally by smaller margins than Clinton. At the same time, voters said they had unfavorable opinions of Clinton. But pollster Del Ali said Clinton gets a boost because the Republicans are even more unpopular.
