Warm Weather Brings Business
Car washer Jack Falby said he has not seen a long line outside the car wash for quite a while.
"This has been a rough year because we've had a lot of snow," Falby said.
When businesses, like car washes, see the sun, they also see dollar signs.
The manager expects to run 400 cars through each day, which is twice the normal workload.
"We definitely expect that on a day like this, because people have been putting it off - coming out of their garages," Falby said.
Across town, restaurant owners said the warm weather means lots of customers get to eat in the open air.
"When people are able to go outside and enjoy themselves and be seen and get out for some fresh air, I think it's a really good thing," restaurant owner Mike Geiss said. "Our lunch business has grown dramatically today. I hope it stays the same and starts a trend."
