COLUMBIA - Columbia Water and Light restored power to northeast Columbia after a power outage Wednesday night.

More than 1,600 customers were without power during Wednesday night's outage.

The outages began around 9:15 p.m. Customers along Clark Lane and Route PP were affected.

A KOMU 8 News viewer tweeted a blown transformer caused the outage.
