Webster University investigation of racist fliers continues
WEBSTER GROVES (AP) — Officials at Webster University in suburban St. Louis say they have narrowed in on students responsible for more than 100 racist and homophobic fliers last week outside a black student's dorm room.
University officials believe a small group of students created the fliers. They also believe the content of the fliers could constitute a hate crime. The incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
A custodian found the fliers Nov. 30 on the floor in front of the room. The custodian collected the fliers and alerted university officials.
The student who was apparently targeted did not see the fliers.
