Wentworth Academy Names Interim President
LEXINGTON, Mo. - A longtime staff member of Wentworth Military Academy and College is the new interim president of the school in Lexington.
The school announced Monday that Col. Michael Lierman will be interim president through the next year, or until a successor is found.
He replaces Col. William Sellers, who resigned as president in May.
Lierman is a former cadet at Wentworth. He joined the academy staff in 1980 after earning a bachelor's degree at Central Missouri University in 1975. He has held several positions at the college during his career.
Wentworth Military Academy and College is a private co-educational military high school and two-year college.
