William Woods Men Fall to Central Missouri

WARRENSBURG, MO -- The William Woods University men's basketball team dropped a 74-66 result to the University of Central Missouri on Saturday night. Daniel Armah was one of five Owls in double digits on the night, but marked his return to the court with a double-double in the exhibition loss, grabbing 14 rebounds to go with 11 points.

Roy McElroy, Logan Decker and Blake Burgess each knocked in a dozen points on the night, with Jonathon Nutt chipping in 10 points. WWU wasn't able to overcome its .280 first-half shooting pace, finishing at .333 for the game to a .460 pace for the Mules. Dominique Long and Reggie Stallings each scored 14 points for UCM, leading all scorers.

The Owls return to the court on December 29, taking on Culver-Stockton College in the Cougars vs. Cancer Classic hosted by Columbia College. Tipoff for the game is set for 4 p.m.
